Darren Clarke is an aspiring young artist from Welkom.  He took art as a subject at St Andrews School and instantly found that he not only had a passion for it but a talent for art as well.  

After school he studied electrical engineering at Icalc Training Academy.  He studied for a year and realised that he could not ignore his talent and passion for art.  He enjoys a number of mediums within art, namely lino-cut printing as well as charcoal and pencil sketching.

He is currently practising his art at home while he waits for his visa to visit the USA, where he plans to study art and develop his talent further into a fully fledged career.
